Culture consumption
One Battle After Another is a movie that will get people talking, both for its style and its flaws in portrayal of the overarching agenda. I watched it while thirsty for entertainment and lonesomeness, so to me that seat in the cinema hall gave me the most fantastic movie watching experience. And even though the movie will suffer as it ages, in my memory it will remain one of the pieces of art that saved my energy from depletion.
On the other hand, The Bride, a regretful choice for watching in a cinema hall, drained me. I donβt know if I watched one movie or seven movies.
I am not even gonna talk about The Housemaid, except two things, that Amanda Seyfried was the most talented and believable actor in the room, and the book was better (but also not so great that I carry a banner around for it).
Off to watch a friend perform on her bass guitar
